Campfire cookout at Lani & Jim Ulrich's home, May 30th, the night before the big moving day. Steve Dziuba, song writer, guitarist, and talented building mover!

Dudley Breed, a landscape architect, had three possible site plans to us in a week. We signed a  contract with Steve Dzuiba & Son, a building moving company from Pennsylvania. Steve arrived a week ahead of time with his equipment preparing Cottage Kent for its new location on Park Ave. near the waterfront.

Pat Payne worked nights & weekends to cut the huge trees around Cottage Kent. Local excavator, J. Claude LeCours, helped us from the very beginning to prepare both sites. The Hemmer Team met with the Boards of the School, The Historical Association, Town Department Heads, The Adirondack Bank, representatives from Niagara Mohawk, Citizen's Telecommunication, Adelphia Cable Company, and many other individuals who were working with us to get the Cottage moved on Friday, May 31st, 2002.

Many local restaurants donated meals for Steve Dziuba's Company, and a special thank you to The Best Western, who donated two rooms for the week to Steve's crew. Steve will deduct these costs from our bill.

Lani & Jim Ulrich hosted a night-before pot-luck cookout for the Team Members & Dziuba crew. Steve Dziuba, and several other folks, had such great guitar skills & singing voices - and we had a few moments to relax before the BIG DAY!
